CytoSport Monster Amino is a BCAA Leucine-concentrated formula that helps boost energy for workouts and helps build muscle mass. I have tried other aminos and this by far helped me in my recovery.

In my opinion, CytoSport has done a feat in muscle-building with Monster Amino. The product’s BCAA ratio and high protein content attracted me the most. It has an 8:1:1 ratio of Leucine (3.5g), Isoleucine and Valine per serving. mTOR activation is boosted by Leucine coupled with exercise, which promotes protein building and muscle growth. The most attractive bit about CytoSport Monster Amino is that it uses Leucine peptides, which they say are superior to just amino acids.

Monster Amino has no artificial dyes, is sugar free, and gives a complete amino acid profile plus citrulline malate to reduce fatigue and help increase muscle mass. I think CytoSport did a great job in showing the exact amounts I’m getting in their label. Frankly, this type of honesty has also affected my preference for Monster Amino compared to other products.

I noticed feeling energized in my first glass of Monster Amino. I do a lot of cardio and weight lifting, and Monster Amino has complemented my program. When I started to drink Monster Amino regularly before and after my workouts, I noticed that I could push myself harder than I ever did before. My cardios are more satisfying, and the kick a drink gives sustains me in longer jogs and brisk walks, and more energy to complete a few additional rounds.

As for my weight lifting… in the past I’d get easily exhausted after lifting weights. I noticed that after I started drinking CytoSport Monster Amino, I didn’t feel as much drained when weight lifting as I did before. I can now increase the weight without much difficulty. The extra energy I feel also helps me increase my reps, which are now steadier than before.

Monster Amino is for post workouts, but I also drink it before and intra. It didn’t at all affect my stomach, unlike other drinks where I feel full and become unfocused during intra. It energizes me between sets, giving me an additional boost. It helped a lot in post workout and recovery, since I have always had trouble with mine. After cardio and weight lifting I usually feel very tired during recovery workouts. Because I tend to take a long time recovering, I end up feeling very sore and compromise myself the following day.

CytoSport Monster Amino helped me regularize my recovery, and since I didn’t feel so tired as I did in the past, my recovery is better now. Monster Amino easily helped me create and maintain a balanced and steady rhythm, which I think is the best improvement to my overall workout program. I mix and finish a glass or bottle every day. For my routine, I alternate daily between cardios and weightlifting, and so once a day works for me. I’m slowly trying to shift into a routine of cardio twice a day plus weight lifting and I’m currently experimenting with my Monster Amino intake. I’m optimistic about it and looking forward to positive results.

I mix CytoSport Monster Amino with water and drink in a bottle during my cardio days, and fix it as a shake on weight lifting days. The carbonation can build up in the bottle, but I recommend using those with holes to avoid gas buildup in the container. I sometimes drink a glass of it before taking a protein shake, which I feel enhances my intake of the protein shake. I bought my next container right after finishing my first one, and this has been so ever since I started drinking Monster Amino.

I have tried all the flavors, and they don’t give a bitter aftertaste unlike some of the other brands I tried in the past. Fruit Punch is by far the best of the bunch. As for the rest, they’re an acquired taste at first but they’re enjoyable after a few drinks. Sometimes, I actually look forward to drinking it primarily because of the taste.

I’ve been buying my product online ever since I started. CytoSport Monster Amino has a very reasonable price, and is worth every cent of it. A container sells at around $22-$26. Store price hits to $30-$40, so I would recommend buyers to just purchase online.

Overall, I recommend everyone who is interested in modern BCAA ratios to read a bodybuilding.com review to confirm the claims. It has worked well for me physically, boosted my energy and stamina, and has improved my program in the end. The taste is satisfying and the product very affordable. CytoSport Monster Amino is definitely worth it, and should be included in a regular workout program.
